Pilates Education Collective

Founded in 2023 by longtime Balanced Body® Educators Ky Russell, Arwen Brooke, and Sarah Artha Negara, the Pilates Education Collective brings together experienced educators and Pilates studios throughout Santa Cruz County. Our mission is to inspire and support the next generation of Pilates instructors through high-quality, internationally recognized teacher training. We offer a collaborative learning environment where students develop their knowledge, teaching skills, and confidence while learning from educators with diverse backgrounds and specialties. From foundational Mat and Reformer training to comprehensive certification and continuing education, we welcome aspiring instructors and experienced teachers who want to deepen their understanding of movement. We believe great Pilates education goes beyond learning exercises. It's about cultivating curiosity, compassion, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning while building a supportive Pilates community.
